How do you rate your books?
AS NEW (AN): the book's condition as it would have been when it was first published. FINE (F): Similar to AN, but with a general appearance of not being as sharp as new. VERY GOOD (VG): a used book that shows some sign of use and minor wear or rubbing to the cloth or dust jacket. Any tears, writings or defects must be noted. GOOD (G): the average condition of a used book, describing both the dust jacket and the binding. Note any problems such as underlining or marginal notes. The contents are tight in the binding. FAIR (F): the text of the book is complete, but is worn, loose, perhaps with end papers missing, torn pages and other. POOR (P): so worn as to serve only as a reference or reading copy. Plates or other illustrations may be missing, but the text is extant. Wear would include stains, marks, writing, defective hinges either inside or out, pages falling out, etc.
